Q: Are we able to add in dynamic variables that were generated from the Automations?
Hey I just purchased tier 4 - Coming from someone who's a heavy user of clay.com + smartlead, i feel that this product is very promising but I'm not sure whether it does this one thing which would make it a game changer - and the thing that makes clay.com so powerful.
I can use the automations to craft a better personalized message for my contacts. But once I have crafted it, I can't seem to link that output to the email campaign.
Main Question:
Is there a way I can add some "custom fields" for my contacts? For example, i can have a custom field called "email 1 personalization" and "email 2 personalization" which i can use automations to create (eg. researching the company's linkedin, contact's linkedin, etc), then update the contact field directly so it can be used in the campaign.
This would put it in the same category of clay.com

Dec 3, 2024A: Hey there!! Awesome!! I’m pumped to hear that. Thanks for the support! I don’t know clay.com too much. But if you’re willing to teach I’m willing to build what’s valuable and what makes it sticky ;) adding custom fields to contacts YEAH there is. There is one caveat: you can do that in our CRM just by adding “new field” and then filling it out (and via an automation) But when uploading contacts inside a campaign you can add as managers columns in that csv (which end up being tie variables) to select from. So I think we have a version of what you’re saying. When you’re uploading new leads to a campaign to start an email sequence with, you can add variables (columns in that csv) and use them to personalize the emails being sent. Let me know more specifically and send a video or something with what you want inside clay to support@mailead.io

Cool yeah I noticed that you can do it. And you gotta know clay.com man - it's giving instantly, reply.io, smartlead and everyone else a run for their money. A lot of these companies are offering native clay.com integrations. It allows you to create much more personalized outreach campaigns that even they can't match - but i think with taskmagic you would be able to accomplish a large part of that
