At First, "Meh." Then Suddenly, WOW!
I have had WordHero for about six months now (I also purchased the long-form add-on). As background, I have access to about 15 AI writing assistants, including a number that are/were here on Appsumo: AISEO, Outranking, Rytr, etc.
At first my experience with WordHero was just sort of..."meh." It was OK but the outputs (for my very niche' blog subject) were in the middle of the pack when I compared them to the other apps. I would have given it 3-4 tacos.
Then, suddenly around the end of May '22, output quality rose *dramatically* for me. Using the long form editor I created a good, solid 1000 word article with about 80% of it written with WordHero's help (in a fraction of the time it would have taken me doing it all on my own). And the post landed in the first page of google results!
I'm getting similarly high output quality results with the short-form features of WordHero, too (individual paragraphs for things like intros and conclusions, copywriting formulas, song lyrics, etc.). But I definitely recommend going for the long-form editor add-on.
My only caution is to be sure you do some reasonable fact-checking when necessary: WordHero doesn't appear to have any user-defined fact-checking capability (though to be fair most other AI writers don't either--I know of only three that have any kind of fact-checking functionality).
For a general purpose AI writing assistant I'm very happy I stuck with WordHero. I see good things in its future.
5 tacos.
