I'm a new user, so have focused on my main use-case of cold outreach. I'm an AI skeptic, so really wasn't expecting too much to rave about. Whilst testing out WriteCream, I was able to generate personalised intros for cold outreach campaigns (essentially cold emails) based upon the person's LinkedIn profile info. It seems to neatly pull out snippets based on their work, education, and experience. A fairly neat trick in itself. However, the cherry on top was the quality of sentences and grammar. As a bit of a snob when it comes to the quality of writing, I was particularly impressed with the output. I typically received about four options to choose from, and on average I was impressed with two of them! I can often procrastinate for hours starting on a writing topic (perfectionism is the enemy of productivity), but this tool provided a decent starting point, allowed me to make little modifications, and be done in minutes. Expectations? Exceeded!!

I then decided to see how it would go reworking some product descriptions. These are usually done by professional copywriters, so are typically high quality to start with. Again, I felt about half the suggestions were of good quality, and half were less than I'd be happy to use. So, that's a "pretty good" result in my mind initially. However, the biggest "win" was my feeling of confidence that I (we) was creating a new and original product description, and wouldn't fall foul of Google's plagiarism rules. When reselling someone else's product, that's a huge deal! It's hard to try to "better" someone else's words - but very easy when an AI system takes a shot at it without any ego issues!!

How many stars/tacos? If you just look at the content that Writecream offers up, I'd give a 3.5/4 star result. There's always room for improvement and I haven't explored all the capabilities. However, as compared to meeting or exceeding my expectations? A full five stars/tacos!! This is a slam dunk! It's one of my biggest surprise packages I've discovered in recent times.
