Yeah, totally. 1600 registered users is amazing, but it sounded like paying customers, and this math didn't add up.
Shutting down happens in the LTD world and in startups.. So if I buy it happens, it's important to have a fail-safe like open source, as some founders promise, so that the money and time spent in the SaaS is a long-term investment. Nothing personal. I hope you make it!
