Q: Do we need to set up a RTMP service to use Meet Hour? Also what is RTMP?

Nov 21, 2024A: RTMP, or Real-Time Messaging Protocol, is a widely used technology for live streaming. Popular platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitch rely on RTMP to receive streaming data from software like Meet Hour.
With Meet Hour, you can live stream your video conferences to virtually any platform that supports the RTMP protocol, ensuring seamless integration with your preferred live streaming service.
Additionally, if you’re planning to set up your own RTMP server, Meet Hour is fully equipped to stream directly to it, providing you with a versatile solution for all your live streaming needs.
But it is not mandatory to set up a RTMP service to use Meet Hour.
First thanks for your quick reply and that does sound like a cool feature to be able to livestream on other platforms!
In addition to the live stream feed are attendees able to be on the Meet Hour platform and interact directly like on Zoom? vs. having to view and participate on other social media platforms like the ones you mentioned.
Yes along with LiveStream, attendees can also be on Meet Hour platform and together their discussion will get live streamed.
