Q: Ability to give feedback on new UI during development?
Many of us Sumolings (myself included) care a LOT about UI. Clean, modern interfaces that are a pleasure to look at help us use the tool more easily, more frequently, and enthusiastically share the tool with others. UI quality becomes a marketing lever.
I’m encouraged that the Meetn team is reworking the UI. However, I worry UI updates won’t reflect the highest potential changes that could preserve Meetn’s branding/logo and exponentially enhance the look of the platform.
Would it be possible to create a Slack group of selected users of Meetn who can give feedback on proposed UI designs?
For example, the team that creates Sure-branded products (eg Surecart, Suredash, etc.) has a FB group where they show proposed UI updates before they spend time and resources developing it and launch. We can help give feedback!

Edited Apr 20, 2025A: Let’s do it! I’m expecting to get three mockups from the designer (three different UI styles). When I get those, I will create the slack group, invite everyone, and share the designs for feedback.
P.S., We just released a new setting in “room settings” so you can choose the color of the highlighting for the active speaker.
Awesome! I appreciate your responsiveness and openness to the idea.
I’m in a lot of Slack groups (eg. Castmagic, Neeto products). If you don’t want Slack to turn into a Support channel, be VERY clear that it is for UI feedback only — not feature requests nor support requests. However, you may find you LIKE having Slack as a support, feature request, and communication channel. Just a heads up!

I guess I’ll be making two slack channels. :-)
And thanks for the heads up that I can adjust the green glow to my brand’s color!
