Q: I see you have changed your plans and remove a lot of the tier 1 features.
Like the ability use your OpenAi key, to remove mevo branding, and the ability to use one chatbot on multiple sites.. don't understand why you crippled the tier 1 plan.. But good luck with your service, I'll be looking for an alternative, like odin or answerly or even webbotify... Initially you had a great deal. now it's extremely overpriced compared to other offering. especially the lack of open ai key and the one domain limit.. seems like greed..

Thanks for your feedback, ofc you’re free to choose which service is suit for your use case. Mevo and that services have key differences between them.
First and most important difference is Mevo is complete chatbot solution which also offering rule based chatbots too.
Regarding using chatbot on multiple sites, I think there is a misunderstanding, that custom domain is domain count which you can connect your own domain to chatbot pages, not site count you can integrate mevo popup. You can use your mevo popup with unlimited website.
Regarding open ai key, you can connect your own api key even in tier 1, and even use assistan api, but can not use gpt-4.
Regarding branding removal, yes we decided to move that to upper tier. But all of our existing old tier owners grandfathered for that feature like all others.

I had planned a significant purchase this Friday, but the recent and quite substantial increase in price for the same product took me by surprise. While I understand that business needs evolve, prior notice of such changes would have been greatly appreciated, as it helps customers like myself plan better.
Despite this, I still hold your product in high regard and intend to keep an eye on Mevo for future consideration.
Agree as I found that annoying as I literally saw that change overnight. Had delayed purchase until the morning and suddenly all features crippled. Not happy with this approach. At least a banner / comment to let us know changes are underway (it does happen for other deals) would have been helpful.
