Q: Is service monitoring logical for managed cloud hosting?
There's a decent price difference between tier 3 and tier 5; we're a small agency with well under 50 servers. Our host has some 'service monitoring' baked in...am I wrong in thinking that Tier 3 is most resaonable for us?
We still get the network and process monitoring & alerts + rule templates. No AppSumo plans include the transaction monitoring, lighthouse or screenshot tests.
Is there anything I'm missing, aside from the longer log retention, that would make T5 a better fit?
Q: Questions Regarding Webhook Integration and Notification Testing and something
I have a few questions to ask:
1.I couldn’t find a method for webhook integration, so I used Zapier to fill in the webhook integration endpoint. However, it seems I’m not receiving anything.
2.There doesn’t seem to be any method to test an “error occurred” notification. The only way I could test this was by directly shutting down the server. Am I missing something, or did I overlook a setting? I’m unable to confirm if the notification methods I’ve configured are indeed working and able to send notifications.
3.The website provides an agent installation for server monitoring. May I ask how I should proceed if I want to remove the program from the server?
A: Hi, Yes, you can use MonSpark as long as you have access to the server's terminal. The tool will work as expected if you can install the agent on the server.
A: Hi, Thank you for your question! Currently, we do not support ARM64 architecture. However, we are actively working on adding support for ARM64, and it will be available soon. We cannot provide an exact ETA at the moment, but it is in active development.
I am using your domain monitoring, which is great, and I have my own script to monitor, and I have a few questions about the server monitoring.
1) Can I set different rules for each server, or is it the same rules for all?
2) Can I do active actions or just monitor? For example, say that if the server takes 200% CPU for more than 30 minutes, reboot it? That would be very useful if that's possible.
A: Hi, Thank you for your questions! 1- You can set different rules for each server. It’s not limited to the same rules for all. You can fully customize each monitor with different rules, and you can also use the same rule across multiple monitors. 2- Currently, the server monitoring feature only provides monitoring and does not support active actions like rebooting the server automatically based...
