Service monitoring is a feature that allows you to monitor specific services running on your server, such as web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx), database services (e.g., MySQL), and other important server-side services. It helps ensure that these critical services are running smoothly and can alert you if any of them go down.
Tier 5 includes service monitoring because it offers the ability to monitor these specific services, which is not included in lower tiers. If you're looking to monitor the status of specific services on your server, Tier 5 will provide the necessary features.
Regarding macOS, as mentioned earlier, we do not currently offer an agent for macOS, but it is in development. We don't have an ETA yet, and it’s not a top priority since macOS servers are not common in most server environments.
