Q: Will this work well for a Saas

I own a training software and currently use weglot for translation which it is obviously not built for.

it translates users training content if they want which is great. but since there's a lot of content which it displays it stores all of these translations in memory. I'm under their page views. but since translated words are all stored that means that over time the memory gets full and I have to clear it in order for it to translate new articles for users.

since you seem to optionally store translations. does that mean I can have it store the base content then for users viewing translations it will count those in real time and not progressively count those same old translations the next month?

A: Yes, MultiLipi works by caching translations once they are processed. This means that after the initial translation, the system will not keep re-counting those same translations each month. For ongoing usage, the translation memory will store the content, and subsequent views or translations will not consume additional credits unless there are updates or changes to the content. This approach helps avoid repeatedly consuming credits for the same content.

Great question — and yes, you can absolutely translate your site even if it’s originally written in Greek!

MultiLipi does not require English as the base language. You can translate from any language to any other supported language, including from Greek to English, French, German, etc.

Q: Translated words count

I can't understand very well the translation, could you help me clearing this out. For example (Tier 2) I have one WP website in english which has 300 000 words. When I install the service everything is translated and the initial words are depleted. And each month I have new 25 000 that are for new publications and updates in the text? Am I getting this correct?

• When you first install MultiLipi, the initial translation of your website will consume your available word credits, based on the size of your content (e.g., 300,000 words in your case).
• After the initial translation, you get a monthly allocation of 25,000 page views (not translated words) to cover any new translations or updates to your website’s content. Each page load counts as one translation request.

The translated words are a one-time consumption for translating your website’s content. If you add new content, updates, or pages, those translations will use your available word credits (e.g., the 300,000 words you mentioned).

A: When migrating from Weglot to MultiLipi, the content itself should remain the same, but the translations will be handled by MultiLipi. The translation quality and output may differ, as each platform uses different translation engines.

As long as you configure the hreflang and canonical tags correctly, SEO should not be negatively impacted. If you’re using subdomains or slugs for translations, make sure they’re set up properly to ensure correct indexing by Google. Not fantastic, but decent; offers good value and remarkable customer support.

I strive to use it regularly. Although it has its flaws, it is making considerable progress.

Good and could be great

I decided to try this out for my tour operator website as I want to offer our tours in more languages. The translation is fast and decent, but the software needs the ability to correct hallucinations and incorrect translations so that the AI translation improves.

We have Polish, German, and Spanish-speaking people working with us, and they tell me that some of the translations are a bit silly. Fix that we can edit some translations or come with suggestions so the database actually gets better and we are up to 5 stars

The setup was pretty simple so that was a plus
