Q: What do you mean by "storage" and "custom domains"?
When I see information about storage limits or custom domains, it tells me a solution is hosted somewhere other than my own server, and that I am not in ultimate control over how and where I can use a tool. My current no-code tools are just that - TOOLS, that I can use offline to build applications which can then be hosted whereever I please.
If I buy NoCode-X, will I be hosting on your servers? How many projects can I host, and on how many domains? Does the "storage" refer to the size of the application datastore during the DESIGN phase, with the ability to take the finished application and place it on my own hosting, or is my ability to create projects limited by this "total storage"? Do you support more than one custom domain, or is this meant to only be used on a single domain?

Apr 22, 2025A: Hello,
If you’re the kind of creator who wants total control over where and how your apps live, you’re asking the questions that matter most—because NoCode-X is all about giving you the freedom to build, launch, and scale on your own terms. Let me breakdown the question.
WHAT STORAGE AND CUSTOM DOMAINS REALLY MEAN
When you see “storage” in NoCode-X, it refers to the total space your applications and their data use across all environments—development, testing, and production. This isn’t just about the design phase; it’s about the live, running apps and the data they generate. You’re not limited by the number of projects you can create, but by the total storage your apps and their content use. If you need more, you can always scale up.
HOSTING OPTIONS AND CONTROL
By default, NoCode-X is a full-stack SaaS platform, so your apps are hosted on our secure, resilient infrastructure. This means you get all the benefits of managed environments—dev, test, acceptance, and production—without worrying about the heavy lifting of server management. But if you want ultimate control, you can self-host NoCode-X on your own infrastructure using Kubernetes and a secondary storage volume for backups. This self-hosted option isn’t included in the AppSumo license, but it gives you the power to run everything on your own terms, with all the features and flexibility you expect.
UNLIMITED PROJECTS AND DOMAINS
You can build and host as many applications as you want, and there’s no cap on the number of end-users. Each application can have its own custom domain, and you’re not limited to just one—link as many domains as you need, per project. We even offer integrated domain provisioning and management, so you can control everything from one place and enjoy top-tier security and performance.
HYBRID DEPLOYMENT FOR MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY
If you like the convenience of SaaS for development but want to deploy to your own servers for production, NoCode-X supports a hybrid approach. Develop in the cloud, then deploy to your own infrastructure when you’re ready to go live. Just keep in mind that self-hosting brings extra responsibilities, like patching and security, but it also gives you the ultimate say in how your apps are run.
