Q: Interactive tasks mechanics and course navigation

I am not a commercial course creator so far and am not sure i will ever become. But i need a tool to create school science course for my adhd son who cannot learn just watching videos or reading. I need varios interactive tasks to help him remember any theory. Not just question tests. I watched the website and I didn't see what interactive mechanics do you suggest for practicing and testing.

Also is it possible to allow students freely navigate through the course parts and topics, jumping to a specific lesson or topic without completing previous.

It is important for me to consider your tool and allocate time to try it thoroughly.

A: Hello there,

Currently, there are 6 types of lessons that you can create on the platform: Video, audio, digital download, rich-text, quiz, and assignments. Our quiz only focuses on multiple choice at the moment, but we are already designing various assessment types, so that course creators can fully test their students - I think these assessment types will also benefit you and your son.

As for your second question, yes! Students can freely jump through lessons if course creators do not make a particular lesson a prerequisite before others can be taken.

If there's something in particular you're looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out. In the meantime, kindly sign up for our newsletters so that you can get a front row seat to all the features we will be rolling out.

We wish you and your son all the best in your course-creating and learning journey. Cheers!

Do you have any estimations of time or at least a list of what is planned?

Assessment types are multiple-choice questions with single answers, multiple-choice with more than one correct answer, fill-in-the-blank, multiple-choice with audio and video answers, match and order, true/false, and so much more. I can't give you a definite timeline as to when the assessments will be launched, but we will always inform our course creators about the progress via our newsletters.
