I'm an online language teacher. I work mostly with students on a one-on-one basis, but I would like to expand my business to include online courses for groups (cohort) and asynchronous teaching/learning. My current membership platform provider is really good, but their built-in course platform is not good. So I was looking for alternatives that were easy to use for me and my students, simple to implement so that I can focus on teaching instead of managing the website, and complete with features that a language teacher needs. I'm happy to say that OnlineCourseHost has all of it and a little bit more. I don't need to use their newsletter feature but I know it's there if I need, and I'm glad they included a bulk email system that I can contact my students enrolled in a specific course. At this time I'm not selling courses to nonstudents, so I haven't really tested the conversion aspect of the platform (the landing page) but it's good — it's actually reminiscent of Udemy. It's a platform some of my students are familiar with, and familiarity helps selling things. I recommend OnlineCourseHost to anyone who needs to do any kind of teaching online.
