1. How does the credit system work?
Credits are used per task, depending on the workflow and AI processing involved. We are currently working on adjusting the credit system to improve the experience. This has to go through AppSumo team but stay tuned! 2. What underlying model are you using?
We use a combination of OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and open source, and we’re also working on integrating DeepSeek to further enhance content generation and research capabilities.

3. What if a data source is behind a paywall?
Good question! If a source is behind a paywall, Oscr AI cannot directly access or retrieve its content. However, if you have access, you can copy and paste the content into Oscr as a source, and the AI can process and summarize it for you. If there are specific subscription-based platforms you'd like better integration with, let us know—we’re always exploring ways to improve content accessibility.
