I have to admit that it is no longer so easy to convince with an AI tool, as long as you already have one or two really good ones.

That's how it is for me too, which is why I don't see a huge benefit here for a further investment. You can use the discovery function to search for news or youtube videos via chat. Apart from that, simple things like blog articles are possible, although the one I created was suddenly no longer visible.

Not a must-have, but perhaps an alternative for newcomers or someone who doesn't yet have an AI tool. Good luck for the future!

In the beginning, I thought It had potential, but 300 credits give you few articles. End by getting one correct article from the research...

I am a creator of an audio blog about AI in different languages. To get the latest information on AI, I have been subscribing to multiple industry magazines, school magazines, and media. It costs around $300-350 a year. It takes me dozens of hours to read through these magazines to find content suitable for my blog, and it takes another few hours to write the content. I bought the oscr package last week and I find it already useful. Discovery is good enough for me to surface latest AI news or videos to use. The good thing is that there's summaries so i can pick and choose which ones I want to use pretty quickly.
Rearch report is also useful it seem to be doing online research on an extended topic. I would love to see a more deeper-dive research capability as well. Blog results are professional, focused, and with varied style. I tried the satirical version for the same source and it was hilarious. I also like the outlines for each blog which help me to understand the source content better(This is my personal hack, sometimes i use a source but I haven't watch the full video yet, I usually go back to watch the details after I get the outline). In addition, I need translation for the source information as well and Oscr has it available right within the workflow which is convenient. I think the Oscr AI blog writing workflow is a good fit for my use case.
My experience with Oscr is that it does require an adaptation process. To get good search and writing outputs, I experimented with different prompts, instructions and styles and adjusted the source context. Now I'm more used to it. But like some other users complained, the credit runs out a bit too fast. Hopefully the founding team can figure out an improvement.

I purchased this tool because people spoke about the great research capabilities. Any article writer is useless because I will only use the latest and best AI to do so I won't comment on this.

I gave it a shot with a common word and it had one recent article and everything else from 8-10 years ago. Then I tried something else which pulled up a few random articles which were more recent. I glanced at my credits and saw that I used up 40 credits already. So if I search a handful of times per day I end up spending 1200 credits in a month.

Then I entered the same search term in Google News and lo and behold, these are 100% the same articles as the amazing Oscr research engine. I am not kidding ONE HUNDRED PERCENT.

I rarely give 1 star but I feel deceived. They put 0 efforts into their research tool.

Oscr AI gets a solid 5/5 tacos for delivering exactly what they promised on their core functionality. While it feels like a minimal viable product in terms of interface polish, they more than make up for it with their outstanding customer service. Granted, my question was simple - I just couldn't figure out where my generated blog posts were being stored in the interface - but their support team responded right away and got me back on track quickly.
What really stands out is that while all AI-generated blog content needs some human editing, Oscr's output quality is notably superior compared to other AI blog generation tools I've purchased on AppSumo. That level of responsiveness and better content quality gives me confidence in the product despite its early-stage feel. They're delivering on the essentials and backing it up with great support - exactly what you want to see in a lifetime deal!
