I am a creator of an audio blog about AI in different languages. To get the latest information on AI, I have been subscribing to multiple industry magazines, school magazines, and media. It costs around $300-350 a year. It takes me dozens of hours to read through these magazines to find content suitable for my blog, and it takes another few hours to write the content. I bought the oscr package last week and I find it already useful. Discovery is good enough for me to surface latest AI news or videos to use. The good thing is that there's summaries so i can pick and choose which ones I want to use pretty quickly.
Rearch report is also useful it seem to be doing online research on an extended topic. I would love to see a more deeper-dive research capability as well. Blog results are professional, focused, and with varied style. I tried the satirical version for the same source and it was hilarious. I also like the outlines for each blog which help me to understand the source content better(This is my personal hack, sometimes i use a source but I haven't watch the full video yet, I usually go back to watch the details after I get the outline). In addition, I need translation for the source information as well and Oscr has it available right within the workflow which is convenient. I think the Oscr AI blog writing workflow is a good fit for my use case.
My experience with Oscr is that it does require an adaptation process. To get good search and writing outputs, I experimented with different prompts, instructions and styles and adjusted the source context. Now I'm more used to it. But like some other users complained, the credit runs out a bit too fast. Hopefully the founding team can figure out an improvement.
