I really like it
As a new student, I think it is a great product idea with a lot of potential. I found it helpful in speeding up the process of finding relevant research papers. The site doesn't necessarily have many papers actually downloaded, it can just recommend them. It seldom has them already, but sometimes. As a university student I can add the downloaded resources myself which is fine. But again, will require a fair amount of searching on my end. One of the coolest features is the writing area which allows you to generate writing and writing prompts to your hearts content. You can automatically have titles written as paragraphs. It will often add citations for you as well. The issue I found was, since I haven't added many references to my personal database, it will sometimes insert a reference from my own references that is not related entirely to the text written. It will sometimes mention studies and references you may not have but for the most part you are best making sure you've done and added the relevant reference materials yourself. It is cool they have included a plagiarism checker too. It is very straightforward. I heard they may find ways to improve it further in future. I heard because their customer service was quite impressive. Someone responded to my questions generally under 5 minutes in a considerate, helpful and patient manner. I realise that this software may still be in it's early years and will have several areas of development yet needed. But it is cool nevertheless in perspective of a university student. I mainly used it so far to find reference material/research papers easier for an academic essay. I think it has a lot of potential as it does suggest good points for essays. But you cannot really control the format or length of text generation or generate citations easily. It would be good if it was easier to just have citations/references found easier in the writing area. But like everything I realise this is a beneficial tool and a tool is only as perfect as an individual's ability to use it and the hard work they are willing to put in to get a desired result. AI won't do everything you need for uni perfectly. You'll still have to edit somethings and perhaps strengthen the layout of information etc. But you should give a certain level of thought to your writing tbf. It's cool aswell these features and also a feature to chat with documents. As long as you have uploaded the material (documents less than a 1000 pages as I found out from apparently being ambitious), you can ask questions about the material for better understanding which is a great idea. This is what they call "calls" from what I gathered. You get so many every 3 hours. But other than that you're pretty set. It's not as complicated as I first thought it looked. I think I'll find this really useful in my university learning for the most part. I think mainly I hoped there would be more materials already on the site so it wouldn't need to be downloaded since it feels like that's still going to be a lot of work in a way. At least the search features helps you know what is best to upload. And it would be really cool to be able to generate new citations and references easier on the wiring function. I did see you can ask the ai specific things. That is useful. I kind of wish the humaniser feature was also for the first tier offer. I'll give 5 stars instead of 4 stars anyway just because I like the product. Especially the writing generator and search features and ability to ask ai questions. It would be cool if you could alter the style of writing or have other settings but I suppose its not the biggest deal.
