Q: Please do a disclamer reg. using our content on the AppSumo plans - the "gold plan"!

Just found out that you will "properly" use AppSumo users content for training your Ai :-/

You have stated several places that you DO NOT use users data & content for training your Ai, but now understand that is only for the "Pro Plan". And the AppSumo deals are not the Pro but the "Gold Plan" - where you "keep the rights" to use users content for training your Ai.

If this is true and you don't do a disclaimer, I & several others unfortunately will need to refund our multi tier buys :-/

Please do a clear disclaimer. Either:
A. We do NOT train on AppSumo users content and will not ever.
or
B. We do NOT train on AppSumo users content now, AND - if/ before any change to do this, we WILL offer an Opt out.
I woulds personally perhaps accept an ex. "pay a one time $50,-" to have my content stay private.
If that hinders you from go belly up.

A: This is all very clear in our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to train AI models on inputs/outputs of the platform. A standard clause in pretty much every AI product on the market. We do not currently train models, nor do have plans to currently. The world's top research labs make much better, faster, and cheaper models. We'd rather use them.

No, untrue. Its not standard, only cheap.
Got many AI tools, all w. clear "We do not train on users content, in- or out put"
Fully agree Research labs makes high end & fast models. My use case: Partners w. contracts - any kind of info & content "sharing" = breach = I lose any twists upfront

But super thank for a clear "We do not currently train models, nor will we".
Especially: "nor will we" :-)

It's actually quite standard. We went through an AI accelerator program with 100 other companies. All the companies added similar clauses. It's considered irresponsible not to disclose this information even the possibility.

And I actually edited the answer from "nor will we" to "Nor do we have plans to currently" because I cannot guarantee we never will.

For your use case, you don't need to worry. File uploads are not considered inputs/outputs of the tools. That is outside the scope.

Good :-) : "File uploads are not considered inputs/outputs of the tools".
I understand.
But 100 others could easily be the 100 most Google-ish/ "growth oriented" = will use all possible measures to get & stay ahead. Where 100 others opt the Apple way: High privacy+ux.. 2 ex. here on Appsumo: Airbrush & Supermachine...

Still would be superb if added: "We will offer an opt out before change" :-)
