Q: Questions about actions per tool and API integrations. What does that mean?

Please explain what advantages there are in building Pickaxes with more actions or APU intergrations?

I am trying to decide between Tier 2 and Tier 3.

I could use some concrete examples.

Thanks!

A: Actions are a way to let your tool use external software. Essentially it lets your tool ping an API endpoint. We have pre-built Actions for popular software. We also let users build their own custom Actions. A very popular example is a Zapier/Make webhook. This video explains in more detail: https://youtu.be/lKrC3LTnfcA?si=5yV_5zsJND_RutPm

An action is a way to let your Pickaxe do an 'action' by using other software. AI models can normally only generate text and images. Actions let them do stuff on the internet.

Each action must be connected so the AI can understand how to do the action. For example, if you want your Pickaxe to hit a Zapier webhook, you must connect that webhook endpoint as an action.
