Hopeful that they will fix their AI but for now, completely unusable.

I've been using poweIn for the past 24 hours and gosh am I cringing. a colleague messaged me this morning, asking if I'm using a bot to reply. I rushed to check linkedin and gosh- the comments posted by powerIn are beyond appalling.
Here is an example:

*The original post:*
"🚀 Transforming Transport Technology with Firstco’s Remote Operations Platform! 🚀

For 25 years, hashtag#Firstco has been a trusted partner for transport operators, helping them manage their technology and data systems. In this video they introduce their latest innovation: a Remote Vertiport O&M platform that enables vertiport owners to manage multiple sites from a single command and control application.

Key Highlights:

🚀Situational Awareness: Seamless integration of digital systems for enhanced monitoring.
🚀Software Assisted Operations: Automating routine tasks to improve efficiency.
🚀Teleoperations: Minimizing the need for on-site staff, enhancing operational flexibility.

Their Vertiport Management System (VMS) integrates various vertiport systems into a unified platform, supporting real-time, remote control and monitoring of eVTOL infrastructure. Leveraging WinCC OA, they address the challenges of distributed site management, ensuring accurate data presentation and situational awareness.

Join in exploring how Firstco is setting new standards in transport technology management".

*The powerIn comment:*
"uniting operations through ingenious software solutions".

That's it. that was the comment.
To be clear, I selected the setting that makes the comments be all lowercase. I agree it's potentially a clever way to hide the fact that it's a bot- but regardless of the case of the letters, the comment is trash. If a blind monkey grabbed random words out of a plastic bag it would make about as much sense.

I can post all comments powerIn commented on my behalf to linkedin but let me just say, they all are (extremely-AI-sounding) summary's of the post, rather than a comment or reaction to it.

Here is one more example:

Post:
"With hashtag#SPS24 just around the corner, I'm excited to share a sneak peek regarding hashtag#SIAMTICAX!

This year, SIMATIC AX will be featured across several areas and use cases, giving us the chance to show how we're shaping the future of automation.

AX will be part of a greater story on hashtag#SoftwareDefinedAutomation - where we expand hardware-defined automation with software-defined functionalities. Together with the hashtag#VirtualPLC, hashtag#IndustrialEdge & hashtag#SIMATICWinCCUnified for Industrial Edge we’re showing our latest innovations in regards to collaborative workflows to optimize production lines, reduce downtime, and boost operational efficiency."

PowerIn comment:
"innovating industrial automation excitingly. collaborative workflows, software-defined advantages compelling."

What an absolute bucket of mumbo-jumbo hogwash. I am not upset at powerIn only because it actually made me laugh out loud.
