I am completely self-taught, and I had a fully functional membership site backend built in less than a day without the overwhelm required by the overcomplication of other software. Besides the price being a no-brainer, this deceptively powerful but simple solution is actually my preference when considering Memberpress, ARMember, Paid Memberships Pro, plus any other all-in-one platform off Wordpress as well. It more than just 'gets the job done' and performs so well, that as a solopreneur, I'm considering purchasing the deal for 50 sites. I can't comprehend how the business stays profitable internally when even the free version of this plugin is strong enough to support an entire business for its lifetime (but don't tell them I said that let they get any ideas). If you take your membership business seriously, you WILL look at ProfilePress.
