I purchased Prowd from AppSumo with high hopes for creating quality text-to-video content. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. I’ve encountered two major issues:

MP4 Export Not Working: The software fails to export videos in MP4 format, which is essential for my projects.
Animation Quality: Even when I manage to export in other formats, the animations are choppy and far from smooth, making the final output unusable for professional purposes.

Despite multiple attempts to reach out to the Prowd support team and following standard troubleshooting procedures, I have not received any response or solutions to these issues. This lack of support and response is highly disappointing.

I’m sharing this review to caution others who are considering this product. Without reliable support and functional software, it’s hard to recommend this tool.

I bought the product in 2023 and did not use it until now.
My first experience with the picture to video was great, but soon after I was not able to download the video anymore.
The helpbot was very bad and slow, so I had to convert the webM all the time to use the produced video.
I think there should have been enough time to avoid errors like this.
So I can give a maximum of 2tacos now, until this is solved, if it is solved.

What a simple and delightful tool to create videos. Purchased this a while back and came back to it recently to see how much new functionality had been added. Congrats to the creator for keeping it Fun and Functional at the same time.

Tried and returned in a day,
as the current stage of the development of the app is very raw stage and there are tonnes of changes required.
Liked the idea and was happy to see one output of a quote turned into a nice little video.
But other things caught my attention and had to return the subscription.

So, the stats provided on the sales page about how to quickly you can create a video are Fake, at least at this time they are anyway!

PROWD has very serious issues and script conflicts going on non-stop!

For an app that is so devoid of options it should go fast in the creation but it doesn't!

You're better off using a feature rich, time tested video creation software as you will spend less time in the learning curve than dealing with the bug infestation going on in PROWD.

Another, fun and Important fact which they fail to mention is the extremely poor quality rendering and output of nothing higher than super grainy 480p.
Which in today's age of standard HD everywhere and 4k almost the norm you can't be taking seriously with 480p.

I mean seriously did 1985 call and say they want their 480p SD Video Resolution back?
Are you and Dr. Emmett Brown planing on building your own time traveling DMC DeLorean and headed off to 1985 to give them the 480p SD Resolution back?

Pro's:
At this time I do not see any, however, I will say that the Idea and the developers vision does have potential.
If they put some time in to this and get it coded correctly then it could be a nice little app.
However, at this time the PROWD Video App should not have been released as a paid app as it is not even close to being ready for "human consumption" (Joke) , it's not ready for personal or commercial use!

Also, failing to mention important information in regards to a product, digital product, service, etc is the same as deceptive, misleading, fraudulent advertising as clearly stated by the Federal Trade Commission, even if it is unintentional!

I'm going to give the developer the benefit of the doubt and say it was an over site but I really do hope the developer makes the appropriate corrections to the description and takes the necessary steps to get the app working as intended.

I will monitor the progress of PROWD over the next few months or so and if the issues are being worked on and cleared up then I will make changes to and give higher ratings.
