Q: How can I trust you?
After all, we know not much about the security measures in place and, above all, who controls them. Is your service audited, and if so, by whom? Is your company registered in the US, Ukraine, Portugal, or the Netherlands? How many permanent staff members are there in your organization? What would happen to our aliases if you decide to drop your service? What is your business model (I didn't quite understand it given how low your subscription fees are)? As long as ProxiedMail is used for disposable addresses, there isn’t much risk, but if an alias is created for a bank or a payment system, what proof do I have that what is sent to me is only sent to me and not to a third party? I would use your service because of a general lack of trust in companies offering free email solutions, but how can I trust you? Thanks for your understanding.

May 5, 2025A: Hi,
It's Alex, the founder of ProxiedMail.
Thank you for your question.
No security audit was conducted, but, we have a plans to complete it.
The thing with audit is that should be conducted regularly since the security issues might get in place after some time. So, when you see that our competitors did in 2022, it might be changed already.
We're registered in US, have some developers in Ukraine and I'm(the founder) residing in Portugal.
I wouldn't decide to shut down the service since running costs are low and I used my ProxiedMail emails in a lot of places.
Speaking about our business model - everything covered by the subscriptions/lifetime fees just straight on ProxiedMail.
AppSumo helps us to promote the product making the idea of protecting your data/using custom domains spreading as wide as possible. (for which we're very grateful).
Only was I suggest regarding the banks - either just trust us or use your custom domain.
This way you just pay around 10 USD annually and you can move to any other proxy-email provider just in a few clicks.
Additionally, this AppSumo pricing isn't permanent.
We're running the product for 5 years, so its very unlikely we're ever going to shut it down.
And finally, we have competitors who're offering higher prices with bigger names behind them, but everyone complaints in the review that they're blocking accounts without notice, without being able to reach support.
I think support is one of our biggest feature. Whatever happens - we won't let you down if you ever started using the product.
Potentially, one day we would increase the prices after we make our market % higher.
So, for now you have ability to get as for a cheapest ever price(thanks for AppSumo).
Doesn't mean, our product is bad, even through it's cheap.
I would say even opposite.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you.
