Q: Settings and role options

Thank you for offering your product on AppSumo. I've encountered an issue while creating roles within my team and would appreciate your assistance. When I set specific options to "inactive" for a role, these options become inaccessible, which is expected. However, my goal is to hide these options entirely from the view of the members in that role, rather than merely making them inactive.

Currently, members in the role can still see a significant amount of information, such as billing and plans, when these options are inactive. To maintain the privacy of this information, is there a feature or workaround that allows these options to be hidden completely rather than simply inactivated?

A: Thank you for your valuable feedback! I completely understand the need to fully hide certain sections rather than just making them inactive.

We’ll be working hard on this, and by the end of this week, we’ll add a feature that hides sections users try to access without the necessary permissions. If we can implement this quickly, we’ll also look into workspace- and form-based user permissions.
