Q: Submission Chats
Could you please explain to me how the Chats are limited when I bring my own key and therefore pay for the chats directly and separately?
And are submission chats per agent or over all agents combined? (Would make no sense if someone had 500 agents and only 6 chats per month capacity - in theory)

Jun 3, 2025A: Hi Fairlane, Great question, and I’m happy to clarify how Submission Chats work in Release0, especially when you’re bringing your own OpenAI key.
“Submission chats” refer to chat sessions that have interacted with the user. This way we avoid expending chats sessions on events that load the agent page/iframe/etc.
They are counted across all agents combined within your workspace.
So yes, your logic is right. Having hundreds of agents on a plan with only 6 total chats/month would make no sense, and Release0 is structured to scale according.
We do have to structure our plans with submission chat limits to remain sustainable. Without them, high-volume usage (especially with BYOK) could lead to backend costs that jeopardize the business.
