I have to admit, initially I thought this would be another resume app that is trying to combine AI resume updates with job tracking and fail at both but boy was I wrong!
First, there were some issues with the registration mostly because my AppSumo account uses one email but I needed to use a different email address for ResumeUp.AI The team at ResumeUp was FANTASTIC! They immediately engaged the support team at AppSumo the we connected over chat on their site to resolve the issue in real time which only took about 10 minutes.
Let me switch gears and cover the app. There are so many areas to discuss but one thing that stood out was the ATS rating. My current resume was in the low 60s, using the AI in the app, I was able to bring it up to 94. I thought my resume was actually pretty good but when the AI started pointing out gaps, I realized how much room was there for improvement.
Talking about improvement, ResumeUp.AI is not perfect, there are a few things that could be better, like being able to enter skills in bulk or adding custom sections or reorganizing the sections but that is nothing compared to what the app does well already.

I still have to explore a few other things, mostly around job tracking and using the Chrome extension and generating custom resumes based on the job description but so far, I am super impressed. Congrats to the ResumeUp team and Rohit for a job well done.

For anyone looking into buying this deal... I understand you might be looking at the app because you are between jobs and spending money on yet another app can make you hesitate but I highly recommend you buy it as it will be a good investment, especially when it is an LTD. I have another app for resumes that was a lot more than ResumeUp but it does not even come close to ResumeUp.
