Q: API uses / Status pages with passwords or embedding / Domain expiry alerts / iOS app
Hi Berika,
Could you help with these questions:
1)API uses
Could you give me some examples of where the API would be useful for a service based busineses? Or is there any documentation with detailed examples?
2)Sharing status pages with passwords or embedding
a)As others have mentioned is there a clear ETA on password protected status pages?
b)Is it possible to 'embed' parts of the status graph/charts externally i.e - if I already have a dashboard set up for a client can I copy some html/iframe code for a particular widget and add this to a page?
3)Can we set alerts for domain renewals? Are there limits for this?
4)iOS apps
Are there plans for the release of an iOS app - although stats on mobile would be useful, the main use case would be push notifications for urgent alerts.
Many thanks,
Matt

Mar 11, 2025A: Hi Matt, 👋🏻
Thanks for reaching out! Here are the answers to your questions:
1. If you manage client websites through a dashboard, you can integrate Robotalp’s API to:
1.1. Automatically create Uptime, SSL, Domain, DNS, PageSpeed, SafeBrowsing and other monitors when a new client website is added to your system.
1.2. Fetch Uptime rates, response times, and other monitoring data and display them directly on your own dashboard.
If you have any technical questions regarding our API, feel free to open a ticket from the Robotalp interface.
2.1. This feature is already in our roadmap, and we plan to implement it soon.
2.2. Embedding Charts/Graphs: Currently, we do not offer an embed feature for individual graphs or widgets. However, we’re always open to feedback, and I’ve noted your request.
3. Yes! Domain Monitoring is designed exactly for this purpose. You’ll receive alerts before a domain expires. The number of domain monitors you can create depends on your selected package limits.
4. We previously had Android and iOS apps, but they were removed during the transition to Robotalp V3. A new and improved version of our mobile apps is planned for release this year, which will include push notifications for urgent alerts.
Let me know if you have any further questions. I’d be happy to help!
