Q: future Google updats
I think that your product is amazing, but I am afraid that Google could create something similar and enable an official button in the short term.

Routezilla
Edited May 30, 2025A: Hey there, great question! We’ve actually walked this path with Google already. They have tested in-house scheduling products; however, none of these included service area management and routing like Routezilla, then they approached Routezilla to see if we would partner with them to roll this blue button re-direct feature out. The crux is our algorithm:
- First, we grab a customer’s exact service location.
- Then we query which team members can deliver each service type on which days at that location.
- Finally, we optimize the best available slots while capping drive-distances between appointments.
That level of complexity isn’t easy to replicate, which is perhaps one of many reasons Google has chosen the partner route, and has invested a ton of time and money in it. Could they decide to build something similar down the road? Sure, anything’s possible in tech. But they’ve told us they’re committed to the partner approach.
What we know for certain is that Google’s tools are low-touch/low-support, whereas Routezilla goes the extra mile—literally and figuratively—to onboard your agency, train your team, and keep everything running smoothly.
