The answer is "Yes, No and Yes" :-)

Yes - it works, just use Shortcode block and enter the [scrollsequence id="###"] shortcode in the Gutenberg Block, then save and you can see the animations on the front end.

No - It will only render the animation on the front end only - the animation will NOT be active/visible in Gutenberg editor, but only on the live website.

Yes* - There is a major version update in the pipeline, which is a complete rewrite of the plugin that will have a "Alpha Dev Preview" available in a few weeks. It will be available to for free to all existing customers that bought from our website, but also from AppSumo LTD. It is a collection of Gutenberg blocks that allow creating not only "classic Scrollsequence" but also a 3D version of it. - So if you buy now, you will get access to it for free. Once it will be in beta and new versions, it will be a separate product for any new customers.
