Q: Why are ads now showing in search results? Can we turn them off?
Hi Rahul, I bought this deal a few years ago and have been using SearchIQ on my site with no problems for a few years. However, I just noticed that search results show a sponsored ad at the top? I don't know how long that has been the case (I hadn't tested search on my site in a while). Is there going to be an option to disable that (as we are LTD customers, and it was not mentioned anywhere on this sales page)? Or will there be an option to add our details to share some of that revenue?
PDF indexing is available in our Pro plan and the AppSumo lifetime deal provides access to our Startup plan. So, you can index 5000 posts/pages/products on your site and the indexed documents will be displayed in the search results.

I see you've answered here to some who have asked if you integrate or work with Shopify.. you've said here that searchiq does NOT work with Shopify.. but your website shows the Shopify logo and says your tool works on all platforms.. so I'm confused..will it work with Shopify or not?

A: No, PDFs are not supported in the AppSumo lifetime deal. We have PDF support only in our Pro plan and the AppSumo deal provides access to the Startup plan.
I want to use it on an icon library website where more than 30K SVG and PNG icons are available. Can SearchIQ search for images like .svg and .png? Is there any way to purchase multiple $39 subscriptions to increase the limit beyond 5K documents? Your previous $20/5K docs/year solution will be too costly for me.
A: No, SearchIQ doesn't search for the images. You can search within the posts, pages, products, and pdf. Moreover, multiple codes can't be stacked to increase the document limit. We can only redeem one code per account.
Oh, so sad the limit can not be increased. However, even if it couldn't search for images, but it could search the posts as because every icon is actually a post. I have to look for other solutions as I aimed for 50K icons/post. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, posts can be searched by tag, category, title, body content, author, or custom field and displayed in the results.
