Q: All future API services included?
Are AppSumo users gonna get all new API services you develop?
Right now, there are not many useful services (for us) in the library and the deal is quite expensive for the current limited number of services, but I can see how this might simplify my life down the road a lot with added services.
So, buying this deal would be an investment in the future functionality of #API for us. Unfortunately, it's happened more often than not that after a few months or years, the deals locked out Sumoers from new functionality and in the case of AI deals also refused to provide us with access to newer models. This is why I'm asking.
I don't want to look at the features of #API in a few years and realize that I need to pay monthly for the ones I actually need.

Dec 3, 2024A: I’d like to provide some context to help with your decision-making process:
- We’re a startup operating in a very young space. The AI workflow automation market is still emerging—it didn’t even exist a few years ago in this form (meaning: with AI-powered, LLM-based workflow automation).
- The platform in its current form has been live for about a year, but it’s built by seasoned API professionals. I’ve personally been building APIs for 25 years. That said, we’re still a startup, and purchasing this deal is also an investment in our growth and development.
- SharpAPI provides access to all our public API workflows, with charges based on usage volume. Our business model is based on building as many useful workflows as possible to drive traffic. Locking out AppSumo users from future workflows would go directly against this model. While feature-based tier restrictions might apply to other SaaS platforms, SharpAPI’s AppSumo LTD is based on one special monthly credit. Heavy users can adjust by purchasing additional credits as needed.
- Like any business, we adapt our development plans based on customer needs. While we have clear short- and mid-term goals, I can’t promise specific workflows years down the line. However, customer feedback will always guide our direction.

Thanks for your detailed answer. Can I interpret this as a commitment to keep Sumoers up to date with new platform features?
Ideally, the deal is structured in a way that does not risk your business down the line (Unfortunately, this is not the case for some deals). We're happy to compensate with higher credit cost from our allowance for more expensive features.

The AppSumo LTD is a fantastic way for me to build an initial community around SharpAPI. We announce new developments every week on our website, in our newsletter, and on x.com/SharpAPI (check it out for a history of our deployments). Starting this Monday, we’re welcoming Sumo-lings into our dev community!
I can't imagine we could just stop announcing new features 😊
