100% Scam with Dark Patterns
Bought the tier 1 plan and I cant even add my API key for Open AI or Open Router to use my existing AI credits.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 plans force an unnecessary limitation of GPT-4o - and lets make this clear - SheetMagic does not even provide the AI - they expect you to use your own API key - but then BLOCK you from using your own API keys unless you upgrade to Tier 3.
This has to be the worst and most blatant dark pattern I have ever encountered and the founders should be ashamed of themselves. I think it may be an APPSUMO special type of dark pattern.
They even require you to upgrade to Tier 3 to be able to use Google Gemini FREE AI models.
Trickery and manipulation are the only things the founders seem to be expert at because the app itself is extremely limited and far behind similar apps which are free on the Google sheets extension store.
Steer well clear of this scam!

From one entrepreneur to another, it's incredibly frustrating to receive such a disparaging review from someone who simply didn't read what they were buying.
We've poured years of work into improving this product—I personally use it almost every day and love how far it's come. So to see someone call it a scam for simply having pricing tiers with different features? That’s beyond frustrating. Almost every software company out there does this.
