No Folders, just transfers (similar to weTransfer). However we're thinking of brining the folder concept into Sinosend sometime in the future.. The reason why we did not build it out, is that we're not a long term storage service or a replacement for Google Drive or Dropbox, but rather a file transfer service. Our goal is to make sure your transfers reach their clients/vendors and they...
Hi I have a couple of questions... 1) Can the 'request extension' be deactivated so the client doesn't see this an option? 2) the Send and receive up to 25GB in tier Pro plan - is that 'per transfer'? 3) How do i receive the notification of download? thank you
1) Request Extension cannot be turned toggled, when you the owner receives a request, you may simply ignore it --- In the future we will create an option for deactivating 'request extension'. 2) Yes the 25GB is per file transfer. 3) When your recipient downloads a file (not previews) you will receive an email notification and in the dashboard.
I generally love your product-- in fact, I bought 2 full 3 code stacks. But my issue is that being in Hong Kong (China), there are inherent risks associated when it comes to the CIA triad (confidentiality, integrity, availability) for your international clients. With particular regard to confidentiality and integrity-- China's 2017 Data Security Law means that any data has to be disclosed upon request to Chinese authorities. As it stands, I would only use Sinosend for non-sensitive data. But in so doing, it defeats most of the use cases I personally have for this program.
So what are you doing to protect the interests and rights of your international clients? Just saying that you have a server in London (which I don't believe you can exclusively select, nor are there any guarantees that it is stovepiped/firewalled) is insufficient.
Sinosend was originally developed to solve the challenges of transferring large files securely between Hong Kong and Mainland China—hence the “Sino” in our name. Small businesses and larger enterprises struggled to send files across borders efficiently, and we provided a solution to address this specific pain point.
I noticed in October 2024 you mentioned that you would be adding Team Memebers (seats) and see that you offer this on your website. I don't see this functionality included in the AppSumo LTD offer. I would like to have this feature, and am looking to upgrade to Tier 3, but it is still not available there. Can you let me know if and when this will be available. Thank you. **Also, this is a fantastic product**
We recently rolled out background customisations for LTD, and teams is next! All I can say is stay tuned.. It isn't something we're marketing on Appsumo in our pricing tiers right now, but in the Q&A we do mention that we are working on it.
Q: Is there a way to upload videos from my mobile to SinoSend's cloud storage
Hi Rishi 1a. Is there a way to upload videos from my mobile to SinoSend's cloud storage & then share them with anyone ? (Basically I record videos on mobile which go upto 10-20GB videos files, which then need to be shared to the video editor) 1b. Do you have a Mobile App for helping with this specific thing ? Or any other way if you could suggest ?
2. Also could you clarify these things: "Send and receive up to 100 GB -Does it mean we can send & receive files upto 100GB at a time ? 1 TB lifetime storage - Does this mean a Cloud storage of 1TB for life ? Email transfers up to 100 recipients Unlimited transfers and requests per month
3. How good are the Servers in India ? I mean, is the upload & download Speed good in India ?
We dont have a dedicate mobile app, and the browser version does not work well on mobile right now-- Also I would not upload such large videos from the a mobile device to any cloud storage -- the connection will often drop - for large files I would much prefer you use a laptop/desktop browser to transfer them for a more stable connection. -- However you may try but i can guarantee...

Yes your right, you can upload from a mobile using the web version, it is responsive, we will consider a mobile app, but results show people dont like to download apps, we wonder if its an effective use of our time to develop a mobile app (the wepp app should suffice for now)
Q: Folders?
If there a folder section that I can manage categories of files or clients better?
