Q: We know for the long run that data storage is extremely expensive. Whats the longterm plan other than LTD?
Why i'm asking is that we know storage costs alot of money. And even if it's 49$, it's a hard market to stay in. So what's the plan?

Great question, and has been asked before, some of which I have answered in our Founders notes above, but here's your answer:
It's true that data storage has an ongoing cost, and we've put a lot of thought into our strategy to ensure the long-term sustainability of our app, even with our Lifetime Deal.
Our AppSumo launch, while offering incredible value, isn't about immediate profit. We view it as a marketing expense and a crucial step to establish our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Understanding what our early adopters truly want helps us refine our roadmap and build features that matter most.
We have several exciting initiatives in the pipeline to drive growth and ensure we can continue to offer such a compelling service:
Referral Program: We're building a system to generate leads through referrals from customers like you! Your satisfaction and willingness to spread the word are incredibly valuable to us. That said we will soon be announcing our Affiliate solution this summer. This will create a powerful incentive for others to help us grow.
Enterprise Customers: In the future, we'll be focusing on attracting enterprise customers. These larger accounts will contribute significantly to our revenue, allowing us to maintain and enhance the service for everyone. You can genuinely help us spread the word by simply leaving the "Powered By" option enabled. It's a small action that makes a big difference in raising awareness.
You're absolutely right that storage has an ongoing cost. While we do have a fair usage policy, we're proud to say that we have never had to enforce it yet. We've had some users use us as their personal torrent vault for videos for which we've had to revoke access, but our goal is to provide generous limits that meet the needs of the vast majority of our business users and focussing on a under served market : Asia.
Ultimately, the same question about ongoing costs could be asked of many other apps here on AppSumo that rely on cloud infrastructure or AI credits. Our approach which isn't unique is to leverage this initial phase to build a strong community, understand our users deeply, and get their help to provide us future revenue streams to continue new development.

Yes no chance of us bailing, as long as the T&C are met and expectations are aligned. The service will be the same if not better for current and future LTD users. We're here for the long haul (before dropbox buys us out! lol)
