Q: On-Premise Self-hosting?
Your website states that your app offers "On-Premise Self-hosting". How is that possible, if I have to log into your proprietary server to access my websites' data? According to Wikipedia; "Self-hosting is the practice of running and maintaining a website or service using a private web server, instead of using a service outside of the administrator's own control."
A true On-Premise Self-hosting application, (unlike yours) would be like Matomo. They allow me to self-host the entire application service and my website's data is on my own servers and is accessed by logging into my dashboard hosted on my servers.

I completely understand the confusion. SiteBehaviour does indeed offer On-Premise Self-Hosting, but this option is specifically available to our enterprise clients as we stated on our pricing page. It allows them to fully self-host both the application and their data on their own servers, similar to what you’ve described with Matomo.
What you’re referring to is our cloud-based version, which requires logging into our proprietary server to access your data. Just as with Matomo, when you log into their website, you're accessing their cloud-based instance, not the self-hosted version.
If you are interested in self-hosting the entire service on your own servers, please feel free to reach out to us about our enterprise plan!
Thanks,
Kiran
