Q: With Tier-4 LTD 15 h rec/12 reports & lower caps than monthly Business, how is this still a true lifetime deal?
AppSumo calls Tier-4 “Business” and promises all future Business updates. But after normalising the public Business plan (annual) to monthly, the gaps are still big:
• Next-step suggestions – 10 000/mo vs unlimited
• AI emails – 600/mo vs ≈ 500/mo (close)
• Call recordings – 15 h/mo + 180 h lifetime vs 50 h/mo (no lifetime cap)
• Custom reports – 12 total vs 45/mo
• Contact enrichments – 150/mo vs 500/mo
Skarbe replied that add-ons will cost $0.80-$1.60 per extra hour and that unlimited recording isn’t sustainable. Fair enough.
The concern: once a team scales beyond light usage the LTD effectively turns into pay-as-you-go. Could you clarify whether LTD quotas will ever track the current Business plan, or share a long-term add-on price sheet so we can judge if the advertised $1 501 “saving” really holds up over time?
Thanks!

Jun 3, 2025A: Thanks for the detailed question, John — really appreciate you taking the time to analyze the offer. Let me clarify a few things and explain how we think about it.
🌱 Why the usage limits?
Skarbe is built on a usage-based model. That means our operating costs grow with how much the platform is used — things like AI generation, call transcription, and enrichment all come with real costs on our side. So unlike fixed-cost tools, the value (and expense) is ongoing.
That’s why our public Business plan is a monthly or yearly subscription, and why some features have soft caps even for lifetime users — so we can keep supporting this sustainably.
🔒 But what you’re getting with Tier 4 is locked in, forever:
- No per-seat fees
- No subscription renewals
- Up to 1,200 more AI emails per year than the public Business plan
- Unlimited next-step suggestions/ Ai emails/ contact enrichments/ reports (just monthly caps)
So you have monthly usage of core features for the life of your account for a one-time price that's less than 4–5 months of regular Business pricing.
If you plan to use Skarbe over 2–3 years (or more), the value easily exceeds $1,500 compared to subscription pricing — and that’s not even counting future upgrades, improvements or features we’ll ship that you’ll get access to.
We’ll also be publishing a clear add-on pricing sheet for power users who need more capacity, but most small teams won’t need it to get full value from the product.
