Q: Some startup questions, mostly about credits

Hello -

1. What is the difference between saving and exporting leads? Do both consume credits?
2. Does anything else use credits?
2. Where do i see how many credits I get and how many I have used? And the date of reset?
4. Do I get 5000 credits for each lead gen technique, or 5000 divided by 3?
5. I see you integrate with Salesblink. Are you the same company? Should I use salesblink or smatleads for cold email?
6. To get the leads, do you scrape real time, or do you have an existing database?

Thanks.

A: Hello,

Thank you for your interest in SmatLeads! Below are answers to your questions:

1. Saving and exporting leads do not consume credits. Credits are only used when you run a lead search (i.e., unlocking lead data).

2. Only lead searches consume your lead credits. Our Marvis AI writing assistant uses separate AI credits, not lead credits.

3. Our Stats page is currently being rebuilt for improved performance. Once live, it will display your total credits, usage, and reset date.

4. The 5000 credits are shared across all three lead gen options—they are not allocated individually to each method.

5. We’re not the same company, but we do integrate seamlessly. You can use either SmatLeads or SalesBlink for cold emails, depending on your preference. Many users generate leads with SmatLeads and send emails via SalesBlink.

6. Yes, we perform real-time scraping for Google Business Profile (GBP) and Bing leads. LinkedIn leads come from a high-quality, regularly updated database.

Thanks for your reply. Regarding #3, so is there any way currently to know what I have left? On the profile page I see a count for saved leads, but as per your prior answer those do not use credits.
