I have purchased lots of ai products, from multimodel platform to afforai, many of them explain things in detail but lack of evidence support, which is no good if you are evidence-based.
Afforai do a good job in integrating citation into answer but sometimes details are missing and a part of answers seem to be generated from AI instead of the input document itself. However, this product socrates amazes me in a second when I ask context-related questions, from a 500 pages pdf, it gives me a satisfactory and clean answers. It is so amazing, though minor error occurred in the citation location (it gives correct answer from page somewhere else, leaving a wrong citation location for reference)
All in all, i think it is a game changer for people who want to absorb knowledge from textbooks, hardcore materials with hundred pages.
Some suggestions:
-To add “content page” function for navigation in pdf reader (as I need to rmb the page no. of chapter somewhere and type/scroll to there manually)
-improve citation location accuracy
-more appealing and intuitive UI
-it would be nice if there is apps for ios/ipad os (as web version by ios is difficult to use:
UI font not for mobile, too small,
inconvenient to switch between document view and chat view, and very unstable when loading pdf, reloading is very common, iphone 15 pro FYI)

Socrates is a must if you really want a large document deep diver and tier 4 is suggested as large document consumes your quota of page with ease.
