Let first start off by saying, that I was not looking to leave Yoast at all.

In fact, I was looking for another suggested software by one an Internet Coach of mine, and that is why I was researching App Sumo.

As it turns out, I about 14+ years ago, I had taught myself how to build and rank Wordpress websites & SEO, and as I was saying.... I was using Yoast, until I found Squirrly recently.

It took me so many years to teach myself SEO, and our immediate family business websites rely heavily on myself protecting our rankings.

Now that will bring us to, why I took a chance on Squirrly, and found out I could believe there was another product that I could use and/or switch too, until Squirrly.

I professionally, will not say that one is BETTER than the other, but I can tell you from USING Squirrly, that it's DIFFERENT. And different in a really cool way.

(And if you wonder how long I had used Yoast? Over 10 years.)

My steps to make the switch were to first try Squirrly on one of my sites that wasn't as essential to me as my core business site. It didn't take me very long to fall in love with the difference in features.

One feature that I love is that the application can work on the front end of the builder that I am using, and currently that is Beaver Builder & with Astra as a theme.

The next feature I love is what they call the "Focus" pages. The have the process designed that you have to select 10 pages to be the most important pages of your site, and you work on ranking those.

Squirrly will analyze each page and provide you information on where you have to improve.

Now, one thing I have to share is that you will have to take some time to SLOW down and be willing to FOLLOW along with their GUIDED steps. The software will help guide you with a task list that, if you follow, then you will truly benefit from all that this software can do.

In the backend, they put a 'SEARCH' box, to help you find what you are looking for, and that is immensely helpful because they offer so much.

Progress & Achievements! If you are someone like me that likes to track or get rewarded for progress then you will absolutely love their "Progress & Achievement" Feature.

What that looks like is this, for example, my dashboard is telling me, this week that I have:
>Increased 8 positions in my ranking for my haircutting page
>Time on my FAQ page has increased by 2 mins
>Page traffic has increased on my FAQ page
>5 social shares of my Makeover Page
>Page loads 1.89 faster
> My audit improved by 12% in the last 30 days.

How useful are the features and benefits of what is listed on the sales page? You will have to try it out for yourself.

I currently use multiple software applications for audits, keyword research, etc, but if you were just starting out, I can share from experience that there is MORE THAN ENOUGH under the hood of this software.

My business has now completely converted over to Squirrly. :)
