The Google Cloud credits Program applications are reviewed and approved based on the eligibility requirements below.

Start tier:
- Technology startup not yet been funded by an institutional investor
- Founded within last 5 years
- Not yet received Google Cloud credits (beyond the free trial)

Scale tier:
- Received verifiable startup equity funding from pre-seed to Series A (if Series A, raised within last 12 months) or common Web3 funding sources
- Founded within last 10 years
- Not yet received more than $4,000 in Google Cloud credits

Also keep in mind that the Google Cloud credits can’t be used for Google Drive storage—they’re specifically for Google Cloud services like hosting, machine learning, databases, and other cloud-based tools for building and scaling applications.
