Q: Locally record podcasts?
Hi,
I'm not interested in streaming but I am interested in recording podcasts.
1) If i record podcasts with guests, can I do a local recordings of both the guest and I, like riverside.fm?
2) If I can do local recordings can I get separate local recordings of the video and audio for both the host and guest(s)?
3) Can you do local recordings for 4K resolution?
4) if streann cannot do local recordings (and separate local recordings for video and audio) do you plan to add local recording feature in the future? If so, when do you think you might add it?

May 5, 2025A: You can record with Riverside.fm and then upload the files into MyChannel on Streann Studio to monetize your content—something Riverside doesn't offer.
Now, to answer your questions:
Local Recording for Podcasts: Yes, you can! When you go live, just select "Add To Channel" only (don’t choose any social platforms). This way, your session will be locally recorded and saved inside your Studio channel.
Separate Local Recordings (Audio/Video): Currently, we do not separate audio and video tracks for each participant. However, you can use third-party tools after download to extract them if needed.
4K Local Recordings: At the moment, we support up to 1080p HD recordings. 4K support is on our radar, but not available yet.
