- all knowledge base articles are also served on a https://support.board url. There is no way to opt out, or even to restrict indexing by search engines (no-index). This is a killer for any potential SEO benefit of the knowledge base. WTF?!?!
- documentation for the knowledge base part is very basic.

Frustrating Experience – Has Potential, But Lacking Usability & Support
Support Board looks like a powerful tool, but using it has been an uphill battle. The functionality and potential are there, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
First, there are no tutorials—nothing to walk you through setup, best practices, or even the basics. Instead, you’re left piecing things together from help docs that only partially answer questions, often leading to more confusion than clarity. Ironically, despite being a support chat software, there’s no support chat inside the product itself—a glaring red flag.
When you finally track down support through the knowledge base, be prepared to wait. And when they do respond? Expect vague, dismissive replies like "Your SMTP details are wrong. Check them. Unfortunately, further help costs extra."—even when the issue is tied to their own malfunctioning features, like a broken “Troubleshoot Problems” button. No additional guidance, no real troubleshooting—just a paywall.
I consider myself pretty tech-savvy, but the frustrating interface + lack of real support is making me seriously rethink using this software. If they invested in actual user education and better customer service, this could be a game-changer. Right now? It’s just a headache.
