Q: Lack of Company and workaround?
My challenge is that I have multiple contacts from the same company. I can see in SwipeOne where the website domain can essentially be the company (or you can just add a property for company name). But there is no central company record with company tags.
How do you overcome this? If there were an automation action that could "clone" certain fields/tags from perhaps the oldest creation date of someone with the same website domain, maybe that would work as well.
I just see a lot of manual effort trying to mentally detect contacts coming in via API that are from an existing company and populating a common set of fields so they are in their rights segments/filters.

Edited Jan 22, 2025A: Hi,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your thoughts. Yes, Company Management is on our roadmap, and we're targeting a release in Q1. We're giving this timeline conservatively due to the high demand from our AppSumo campaign, but the feature is a high priority as it's received a lot of interest and upvotes.
In the meantime, as a workaround, you can create a custom contact property (e.g., "Company Name") to tag and filter your contacts by their respective companies. This approach works well for basic organization, and we use it internally too.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to help!
regards,
Swami

Agree its absolutely key to the value of a CRM to be able to model real world relationships and to be able to mine the data efficiently and effectively to leverage value - customers and any entries in a CRM do not exist in vacuum they are all related and must be relatable to get value, sometimes by what they bought, or have not bought, age, location or a thousand other variables -
