Q: V01.tech vs Tarvent
I'm evaluating email automation platforms and have come across both Tarvent and V01.tech as potential options. Please help me understand how Tarvent compares to V01.tech, particularly regarding its email automation features and pricing structure. V01.tech currently offers a lifetime deal with very generous usage limits, which is quite appealing. That said, I'm genuinely interested in knowing if there are any distinguishing features or unique elements in the user experience that would make Tarvent a better choice for my needs. For example, I'm especially curious about how both platforms handle segmentation and campaign management. Your insights would be beneficial as I weigh my options.

Sep 5, 2024A: That's a good question. I wish we could keep up on all the competing platforms but that's impossible to do. I'm not familiar with V01.tech, so I can only tell you about Tarvent. If there is something specific you can't do in V01.tech and are considering Tarvent, let me know and we can go from there.
As for as segmentation, you can have an unlimited number of segments, create rules, and see real-time results. We've been told our segmentation engine is on par with the best of the best, but that isn't saying much because your needs may be different. That said, you can segment on profile data (standard fields and your custom fields), as well as behavioral data. When sending a campaign, we run the segment you're sending to at that time so we only get the contacts that satisfy your filter as the time of sending.
As for campaign management, we have list and calendar views to provide a more visual view. We have a checklist to ensure everything is good before you send, you can send from an unlimited number of sending domains, and so much more. I would need you to me a little more specific. I wish I could be more helpful but I could write a book about everything Tarvent can do. I hope this helps. It was a shot in the dark but I tried. :)

VO1.tech is a rebranded version of GoHighLevel's platform (just the email and automation marketing part). It's an entirely different offer. It's made for one account. It doesn't offer any of the agency/multi-tenant features Tarvent does. It's an apple-to-oranges comparison. The co-founder is the guy who jumped on board Webstudio's ship and left after a year.
