Q: Extra knowledgebase input methods - timeline?

I'm currently using Chatbase and looking at moving over to Tiny Talk.

I see the knowledgebase input sections states '(more options coming soon!) to train your bot with the information you want.'

What are your plans and you can give a timeline?

I'm keen for a Q&A option aswell as just a simple text window to quickly update information like on many other chatbots.

I also noticed the lack of ability for Tiny Talk to bold any text (like headings) which helps a lot for readability.

Any plans for this?

A: Hello! 👋

Thank you for reaching out, we would be happy to have you.

We've been working on integrations with other services to feed data into Knowledge Base, such as Google Drive and Notion, estimation for release is Q1 2025. Recently we added support for CSV and hybrid search. And we're working on to make adding/updating content using a simple input window possible. Let us know if you have any specific data source or file type preferences for content ingestion.

Soon we're going to release new features and updates to the user facing chat widget, introducing customizable lead generation form, interface updates, retaining user history across sessions and so on. Here's a sneak preview:

Regarding bold text like headings, it is just a matter of utilizing your System/Role Prompt under bot settings, please instruct it to "Always use Markdown.", this will nicely format your headings, tables, lists, links etc.

Let us know if we can help with any other question. Feel free to reach out any time at support@tinytalk.ai

All the best,
Oscar
