Currently you can upload PDF, CSV, DOCX, MD or TXT files. There is a limit of 50MB per file, but this is mostly for prevention of malicious intent, not necessarily to limit the knowledge base.

Basically your knowledge base limit is based on your account tier. For instance if the account tier has 50 million character capacity, that's the limit how large your knowledge base can go. We introduce new file types per customer needs, if you have a specific need let us know and we can evaluate that.

Some inputs can have different data ingestion flows, for instance if you say 'I would like to input a Youtube url.", that's a relatively different ingestion flow that ingesting an XLS file.
