Q: I purchased Tier 7 and would like to clarify some concerns

Purchased Tier 7. Concerns:

High OpenAI API consumption (even when idle). Requested limit with 4o.mini and option to continue without API.

Poorly customizable avatar: need enlargement, free position, and PNG with alpha channel.

Limited chat: lacks image import, emoticons, and voice interaction.

System texts in English (e.g., "Contact support AI Agent..."), without customization options.

Credit attribution: "by TinyTalk" can be removed, but I would like to be able to enter "By Company Name."

What happens when training credits are exhausted (100 million characters or 200,000 messages per month)?

The phrase "All future updates to the Basic Plan" is worrying; I would prefer "Enterprise," given the investment of Tier 7.

I await responses to evaluate whether to maintain the subscription. Thank you.

A: Hello Alessandro,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns.

I can address most of your points, but for some, I’ll need your input:

- High OpenAI API Consumption: Our system does not generate API consumption when idle. It’s possible that a queued training job was processed, or your API key is being used elsewhere. If you haven’t already, please create a dedicated API key for Tiny Talk and share relevant traces from the OpenAI dashboard where you notice unexpected usage. We’d be happy to investigate further.

- 4o-mini Limit & API-Free Option: Could you clarify what you mean here? Happy to explore solutions once we better understand your request.

- Avatar: PNGs with an alpha channel are supported. Please share an example so we can investigate any issues. Regarding enlargement and free positioning, could you elaborate on your expectations?

- Chat Features: Currently, we don’t support images in the chat flow, but this is planned along with voice features. Emoticon support wasn’t previously requested, but we’ll add it to our backlog—thanks for the suggestion!

- Credit Attribution: We’ll introduce an option to add custom text and links, primarily for T&Cs, but you can use it as needed.

- Usage Limits: Accounts hitting 200K messages/month will see bots pause until the next reset. Character limit of 100M does not reset, this is like your disk space, if you delete something you gain space, if you add something you consume. If you expect higher volumes, we offer add-on packs to increase both limits. Let us know.

- Feature Updates: While the documentation states otherwise, we’ve been rolling out every enterprise feature to higher tiers so far. This is helpful for us especially to gather initial user feedback and continue to solve actual pain points.

Overall our approach has been to listen user feedback and measure the demand/frequency of requests. Features that are demanded most often and appears critical for us as well, goes to the top of the stack which makes up our roadmap.

For instance our users have been asking for custom fields in lead generation forms, allowing users to access their previous conversations, being able to download conversations, improved messenger layout, customizable home tab, and many more features are result of user feedback. And now we are implementing custom domains and team features, again based on feedback and demand of the same requests.

With that said, we're not perfect but doing everything we can to address common pain points.

Feel free to reach out via email (support@tinytalk.ai) with more details (e.g., screenshots) so we can assist further.

Best,
Oscar

ok everything is fine and thanks for the reply, I will write to you today! On Appsumo we grow together and we cannot just hope that those we finance do not fail. This is why we deserve to have moved from a basic profile to an enterprise and not pay for the features of an enterprise profile and get a Basic profile for life. 100% of the time, Basic, means that we do not receive the best upgrades

Yep, that's what being mapped to the lowest plan means. When out of AppSumo, you won't get any of the features introduced into the higher plans.

I would also like to see at least the top tier 7 "officially" mapped to a plan like "Enterprise". Purchasing 7 times more codes than a 1-code buyer but only having assured the future plan updates of "Basic" is concerning. If there's no compromise in giving us the "Enterprise" mapping now, it's hard to be confident that we'll get any of the top future updates that will be tied to the highest plans.
