1. Yes, WhatsApp does charge per conversation and the cost varies per county and use case. They give free 1,000 conversations per month as far as I know but better to get all this information from WhatsApp directly, we provide integration of WhatsApp into our platform. https://business.whatsapp.com/products/platform-pricing

*Mind that you will have to have a dedicated mobile business number to integrate.

2. This is partially possible with our new messenger. You can install cards/apps on the Home space and display image/text/button, which could be the image of a WhatsApp QR code or some call to action or button to open WhatsApp in the web.
