Q: Previous Lifetime Plan
I purchased a TubeIQ lifetime deal via another website months ago. Last month, that deal site sent me this email:
"We have recently discovered the TubeIQ team is not supporting the various promised features. We have a feeling that the deal wouldn't continue in the long run. Which is highly unprofessional and unacceptable, thus we at ________ have decided to refund you the purchase of TubeIQ."
I did not ask for a refund. Regardless, TubeIQ removed my lifetime deal and never reached out to me. In fact, TubeIQ never sent me a single email at all, even before the issue when I was a paying customer, until today, telling me about the AppSumo deal.
Where is my previous LTD? What happened? Why did another deal site offer an unprompted refund over your company?

To provide clarity: we recently decided to pursue an exclusive partnership with AppSumo, which required us to discontinue our collaboration with the other deal site. Unfortunately, when we informed them of our decision, they chose to handle the matter by unilaterally refunding their customers without consulting us and severing ties with our platform.
As a result, we had no choice but to revoke the lifetime deal codes issued through their site. We understand how disappointing this must be for you, especially since this decision impacted users who didn’t request a refund.

since there’s a track record already of your company not following through on the features how do we know you won’t do the same here and rebrand it to have early adopters get screwed?
We recently decided to pursue this exclusive partnership with AppSumo, which required us to discontinue our collaboration with the other deal site. Unfortunately, when we informed them of our decision, they (Key Word: They) choose to refund all existing codes. I guess this is the reason they gave their customers. As you can see, even the user above had no issues with their account features.
