Just as the title of this review suggests, UPDF is okay. It does everything as advertised, but why would I give it only two tacos? Well, being a time-limited LTD for one (which should be mentioned on the AppSumo page).

Pros
1. Easy to install and use.
2. Functions as advertised.

Cons
1. After speaking with the UPDF team, this is a short-term deal (LTD); they will only support LTD users until version 3. So, while the support and features are being implemented once version 3 hits... we are no longer supported and left with software that no longer receives updates. This is a big issue for me because it no longer classifies it as LTD (I'm happy to be proven wrong about this).
2. This is a me thing, but I use a touch monitor for work. When I need to review large maps in PDF, I have to go back to Adobe PDF Viewer. I understand I am a minority in this, but it impacts me all the same.
3. Support is eager and happy to help (why is it in the cons section). I have contacted them multiple times with bugs, issues, and feature suggestions, and they promptly reply, BUT they have yet to read what is being asked. Instead, they provide help/support on similar / non-related topics (kind of like they skim the email and not read the actual issue). In one case, I gave up after three times.
4. It feels like an ad platform for everything that needs to be included for LTD. I understand you want us to upgrade to become subscribers, but this is AppSumo, where we pay for LTD deals and these constant ads on what we miss out on get annoying fast. AI and Cloud hosting comes to mind with no way to turn this off.

I would give UPDF 2.5 tacos, but it was between 2 or 3). Three felt too generous in its current state, but that would be too generous to an LTD that isn't real. If they read the support requests, I would bump it to 3 tacos. I hope they will make it a real LTD, which is the main issue.
